Critical Perspectives
My fire project issue is an example of cultural criticism and historical criticism. Cultural
Criticism because it about the culture of sport wrestling, the training, skills, charisma, character
Gimmick, gear, etc. Also putting their bodies, their career, and their lives on the line for
Everyone. Historical criticism because wrestling has been around for centuries and over
The years it expands and changes the landscape of professional wrestling and sports. Also
Professional wrestlers take the most sacrifices ones there in the major league, because there
On the road for 200 thru 300 plus days. They have kids, they grow up and there’re not there.
They have a wife/husband and they don’t know what there’re doing. Then once there home
They’re Tired, restless, exhausted, and sore, but it doesn’t stop there, now they got to be
Super dad/mom and super husband/wife. Even if people are not a wrestling fan they need
To at least respect the professional wrestlers for the sacrifices they make both in and outside
Of the ring. They have to miss birthdays, anniversary, holidays, etc away from their love ones
So that way they could support and bring money and food on the table for them. They deserve
The right amount of respect for what they do as professional wrestlers.
