My social justice philosophy is what social justice means to me is finding equality and justice either individually or as group of people, like in 2012 the social justice students did the peaceful protest which I was also a part of, to bring back the teacher that were laid off and to bring back the A.P classes. Also with 2012 teacher strike. Having the passion about something you care about and to share it with the world about it. How I have the passion to become a professional wrestler in the future and all be able to share it to the world. We as students learn and express what social justice means to us.
But the reason why we haven’t achieved social justice yet is because there are always someone or something that try to stop us to achieve social justice, they believe that there point of view is better than our point of view and that what we are doing is a waste of time. Even though we achieved some justice from time to time, there still injustice around in which will take time to achieve social justice.
My vision of the struggle is the strategies and techniques that we did in 2012 was getting group of people we plan out are protest and what we want out of the struggle. We take action to it and the next day we execute, then we continue doing this until they respond. We keep on doing this until they give up and we win the battle. I’m not sure if social justice will probably advance in my lifetime in my future career because I don’t see how I’m going bring social justice in a wrestling ring.
My role in the struggle is when I join in the fight for the social justice for the past 4 years with my fellow classmate for justice and equality and something we are passionate of it. And in the future we will share are struggle to the entire world. I don’t know how I will be committed to social justice in Professional wrestling besides if they treat me in wrestling in a stereotype way then will fight back on it if they do. Born out of struggle and the struggle continues.
